 Vertrex Swim Vibes have action BOTH while falling/sinking and while retrieving. This gives it incredibly life like action with virtually no effort, however it will not sink as fast as the Vertrex Max Vibes, Which will get down quicker while only providing a vibing action one the way up. 

The VERTREX SWIM (Pat. Pending Body Design) soft vibe is the first lure of its kind that swims when sinking and vibrates when lifted – perfectly imitating a lifelike swimming baitfish. Ideal for casting or working vertically, fish it with a constant retrieve or a variety of stop / start retrieves. Best fished with a fast-lifting rod action to create vibration, then allow some slack to let it swim down.

Lift the rod and it vibrates and let it freefall and it swims, there is simply nothing like the Vertrex Swim.

It is designed to be fished vertically with a fast-lifting rod action to create vibration, followed by giving it slack line to swim down. It can also be cast and used with the same stop / start motion to lift the rod and then allow the lure to freefall and swim.

Key features include:
-The first soft vibration lure to have a swimming action when free falling.
-The swimming action is completely random in direction after each lift of the rod. It might swim left, right or any other direction when swimming on the sink and this creates an incredible random action unmatched by any other lure.
-Swims when dropped under light tension meaning no missed bites.
-Vibrates when lifted.
-Ideal for vertical dropping or casting where a stop start retrieve is used to lift the rod and create vibration and then allow the lure to fall and swim. This creates a completely unique action that drives fish crazy.

The VERTREX MAX soft vibe is all about maximum vibration and maximum depth. It has a lifelike action that sinks level and straight, getting down to the fish faster. The deep body profile combined with finely tuned internal weights delivers a soft vibration bait with a huge vibration at super slow speed and even more vibration at higher speeds.  The amount of vibration you can achieve at slow speeds just gently hopping this lure on or near the bottom is what sets the Vertrex Max apart from all other soft vibration baits. The deeper body with a wide belly design ensures that even at slow speeds the Vertrex Max is vibrating and attracting attention. Fitted with ultimate BKK hooks so you can fish it straight out of the box.

Lighter varieties are perfect for any inshore saltwater species from Striped Bass to Snook, Redfish, Seatrout, Tarpon and Grouper, the Vertrex Max catches fish all day long.

Heavier Varieties (130 &150) are perfect for offshore species like Striped Bass, Yellowtail, Kingfish, Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Red Snapper, Tuna and many more, it is suited to be fished at depths from 50ft-300ft of water. The Vertrex Max can be fished in a similar way to a slow pitch jig. The best technique is to drop them to the bottom and then use 3-10 slow lifts with a short pause off the bottom to get it vibrating on the lift and then as it glides back down on the drop it will often get hit. They can be worked fast or slow, but the Vertrex Max is has huge vibration at slow speeds making it highly effective for this technique.

Product Care:

Our Vertrex Vibes are made from TPE Ultra-Tough Material. Like most other plastics on the market, it’s important not to store two different types of plastics together as they can cause a chemical reaction, which can deform the plastics.

Below are some tips for storing your TPE-based Nomad Design lures:
- Where possible, store your TPE lure in the original packaging – this is the safest option.
- If you prefer to store your lure in a tackle box, ensure that the tackle box is “worm proof” Worm proof boxes are specifically designed not to react with soft plastic materials.
- Do not store TPE lures with non-TPE lures.

REMEMBER: You can store TPE products of the same brand altogether, but they must be kept separate from other branded TPE products and non-TPE plastics.
